Michael Walsh
Founder & CEO, PointOne Family Office
Michael is Founder & CEO of PointOne Family Office. He advises families and institutions on investment strategy and capital allocation across public and private markets, with direct involvement in governance, liquidity, and transaction decisions tied to family-owned operating businesses.

Michael is also a Founder of both PointOne Solutions and PointOne Principal, the firm's respective investment banking and principal investing businesses.

Prior to founding PointOne, Michael held senior leadership roles at JPMorgan, where he led the firm’s Private Banking business in the Southeast before ultimately overseeing its entire western U.S. operations, including its emerging technology coverage in Silicon Valley. As a member of the firm’s U.S. Operating Committee, he was responsible for teams managing hundreds of billions of dollars in client assets and multibillion-dollar P&Ls.

Michael was also a partner at William Blair & Company and held senior leadership roles at Merrill Lynch. He is Chairman Emeritus of City Year Los Angeles, having previously served as Board Chair. He holds an M.B.A. and a B.A. from Emory University and is a member of YPO.
Ashley is Founder & Managing Director of Family Operations at PointOne Family Office. She oversees client relationships, operational execution, trading, money movement, account administration, and coordination with external advisors to support complex family investment and advisory activity.

Ashley has worked closely with Michael for more than two decades, developing deep experience serving ultra-high-net-worth families across investment, planning, and operational matters. Prior to PointOne, she held senior client relationship and advisory roles at William Blair & Company, Merrill Lynch, and JPMorgan.

She holds the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) designation and a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia. Ashley serves on the Associates Board of City Year Los Angeles.
Ari Segal
Founder & President, PointOne Family Office
Ari is Founder & President of PointOne Family Office. He leads transaction execution, advisory strategy, and platform growth, advising families and principals on operating company assets, complex transactions, and strategic capital decisions.

Ari is also a Founder of PointOne Solutions and PointOne Principal - the firm's investment banking and principal investing businesses, respectively - and serves as CEO of PointOne Solutions.
​
His executive career includes COO and CEO roles at major professional sports organizations and venture-backed technology and media companies, with responsibility spanning revenue, finance, corporate development, strategy, and operational turnarounds. Earlier, Ari held investment banking, private equity, and consulting roles at Lehman Brothers, CCMP Capital, and McKinsey & Company with particular experience in sports, media, technology, and restructuring.

Ari has been recognized by Sports Business Journal and Leaders in Sports as a “Forty Under 40” award recipient. He holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. and J.D. from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
Tom McGuinness
Director, Finance & Operations, CCO
Tom is Director, Finance & Operations, and Chief Compliance Officer at PointOne Family Office, LLC. He leads regulatory compliance, underwriting oversight, process design, technology implementation, and operational strategy to support tailored investment and advisory activities across PointOne.

Tom brings experience from investment banking, private equity, and private credit roles at JPMorgan, Caltius Equity Partners, and Deerpath Capital Management, as well as entrepreneurial experience in product development, compliance, and business systems implementation across the RIA, technology, and e-commerce sectors.

He holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Philosophy from UC Berkeley and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with Honors.
